MSM park props

Props specifically to the MSM park guys for making an effort locally to put something together.

They have 3 mini parks spread out over the Vanier side. Hit and rails are abundant. Some beats too.

Our region lacks the balls to put something worthwhile together and I just wanted to raise my glass not to MSM as they are owned by the Fortune (who royally sucks) but to the park guys for doing something.

There's no reason one the hills around us in Ottawa couldn't put something really good together.

The other thing is for those who complain, should pick up a shovel at least!

There's no reason we can't have a real pipe and park in our region. WE have more skier per capita than Montreal...

We have to stop going to SS and Tremblant for our park fixes.

We need something real and good in Otown.

Props to the MSM crew for trying to do something.

Sorry for the continuous ranting here... but

Can you imagine a place like CF if they did something good. I know peeps that go to SS at night to get a session in.

It's weak that we don't have something ridable, that's safe (current CF park is not) and is a cool place to go to at less then 20min away from downtown.

Somebody please!

i agree, i was skiing msm today and it was awsome, i must say the hits were not the best, as one was a bit of a step up that is you hit with too much speed you could easly over shoot the landing, the second jump was a little 5 footer(if that) and then the third jump was out of the way at the bottom where the pipe usually is and you have to hike to hit it if you are coming from the other parks. the third jump was a 20-25 footer with a nice steep landing. for rails they had tons, they had their little rail park at the top which included flat bars, and a flat down. then the second park had a flat, a flat down flat, a flat down(larger than before) a 's' rail, and two c boxes. the bottom park had the rainbow box, which you cannot get enought speed to hit well, and then a flat down box. in the end i must say it was a fun day, good stuff for all abilities, and there is a need for more parks like that closer. as i heard on here camp fortune's has now let to be too icy but in my opinion they had a good park going.

the only good kicker there has way too steep of a tranny, but the rails are all nice, esp. the green checkered downkink and the consequetive c-boxes

Yeah with the rain we got last week the parks are in pretty bad shape for now. Talk about shitty weather this year...

It's gonna take some snow (which we know the sudermanns won't spend on) or some spring like conditions.

All that to say, at least the MSM is making an effort.

i haven't seen it, but the fact that it's pretty much one 18 year old in charge also deserves some respect.

far too fly to stay stationary...

yeah word up adrian, he's workin hard to make it descent, the last jump is semi respectable (good jump for its size) the 'S' and the falt down are also pretty nice, too bad msm is so far into the sticks, I'll be riding EV whos park when maintained (usually pretty well during the week) is also pretty dope for round here

yea,i was there the other day...sooooo sick

Hey adrian was riding on those new 1080's this past weekend. He was all over them.

They looked cool and he was ripin' on them.

That's pretty cool that salomon has him riding the next year stuff!!

He did a fantastic job this year. The park was perfect for the level of riding around here.

he did a good job with the tools he was provided.

anyways those skis look for next year.

oh and anyone seen the new setup for the jump in the hp? Its been moved back by another 10 feet and supper nice, from what i hear

Adrian was on the new 1080 foils last weekend. The Salomon rep who skis up there gave him some loaners and Adrian loved them so much he asked to keep the for the weekend.

Adrian said the ski was way lighter to spin with and popped way more the his skis.

adrian is nice.

apparently is like IMPOSSIBLE to get speed for the jump they have built for this weekend, so that sucks

far too fly to stay stationary...

that sucks he seemed to have it all figured out on friday. Know of any change that are going to be done to fix it for the comp next weekend?
