Well, since horseshoe has a thread on it i thought i might as well make a moonstone one for this year

MSLM is currently blowing snow. Maybe if we got super luckey they would open this weekend.
 
i think the first guy alreaddy said they were blowing snow lol, anyways that would be sick if it were open next weekend, though i doubt it, but id be there if it were, it defenitly cold enough nowadays
 
i got the early season one and it was like 450 or something nuts. i wish it wasnt so much. i guess if people are still buying it.
 
mathamaatically its a pretty good deal. MSLM tickets are what....45 a pop so if you use your season pass at least 10 times it will be worth it. 10 times isnt that much, so i can pretty much garentee it will be worth it. But what do i know eh...its jsut math...math who needs it meh
 
on the news tonight it made mention that louis is schedualed to open on the 1st which is just over a week away.

that may be wrong cause im not sure why they would open on a sunday...
 
i'm pretty sure they replaced the old beater beside the quad, on the louis side. now its a new lift, not sure how many people fit on it or how fast it goes though.
 
yah srsly bout fukcin time, i remember that lift would take like 4 times as long to get to the top, there was absoulutly no point in it, unless you wanna get to the other side of louie, thats gunna be so much better and take the pressure of the other main lift at louie, should be sick can't wait!!!!!!
 
you think they are gonna have some shit up in the junkyard by sunday. i remember last year on the first weekend open they had a bunch of shit up, even a wallride. any one know if there is gonna be a park???

i was just there picking up my pass. I saw that on the park run they have some snow elevated for a feature (shotgun or something) but nothing was in the snow yet so who knows.
 
today (friday) there was:

little flat rail

little down rail

up flat

flat box

long skinner flat box

shotgun rail

small jump

it was set up very well
 
i dont know if anyone heard about this, but aparently special blend put on a 'competition' of sorts today. the first six chairs (with people on them obviously) to get to the top, got hooked up with head to toe special blend stuff. i dont actually have any details on this, sort of heard it as a rumor, but yea, thought that was kind of sick that louis would host something like that.
 
^ i could have read wrong but on their website it was the first 6 snowboarders....which would seem kinda lame...so not first 6 chairs but first 6 boarders....can anyone that was there confirm
 
today was pretty fun, skid some park. got bored of that. left park with joeshmo, hiked moonstone hit some powder. went to louis skid on a closed run and a ski patrol cut our tickets but it was our last run anyway so i just threw it on the ground and left
 
i take that back. i just learned i sprained my mcl and im out for a month. my advice to you is not to ski with your hands in your pockets.
 
was i there when you got hurt? that blows though. I can be your expert on MCL injuries though. seriously.
