It may actually hold this year folks. Colder temps and snow are in the forecast, and if it holds throughout the week and there aren't too many warm-ups, things are looking very optimistic. Most resorts (including most Southern ones) are firing up there guns tonight.

Best case scenario, we are skiing by next weekend. Worst case, within 2-3 weeks. Get stoked fellow Ontario skiers!

yup, i was up at louis yesterday and they are projected for this weekend. they are blowing snow on most of the main trails. Snow squall warning there right now and expeting 10cm by the end of the day. looks like the cold temps should be staying. a good chance we will be skiing this weekend ontario!

YUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but that is coming from soneone who doesnt even live in the province anymore and has not seen or heard anything from MSLM themselves.

I can CONFIRM that they will set something up, I just talked to a mate who's working there. They have not decided what yet, it will all depend on how much snow they can blow this week.

this. they ALWAYS strive to open the junkyard and have as many features as possible, worst case scenario like a few years ago they put a few rails on the side of the main run.

i read today that this weekend was kiboshed .

not from a creditable source... but shit, I was stoked.

hmmm guess we will see

yeah they pushed back the date until dec 7 because of the warm temps this weekend. Rain and 5 degrees on saturday and rain and 10 degrees on sunday. Unless there is some sort of deep freeze then we will have to wait.

as a fellow ontarion I have made this mistake basically every year. opening dates are pretty much always bumped back by bit

whatever, I would rather have them delay it a week than drive 3 and a half hours for shitty spring skiing in a rail park.

yeah but spring skiing in november is dingy as fuck.

and I just found out horseshoe is opening saturday. anyone know if they'll have any features? worth a drive from london?

They had a few last year in their first few opening days, last years weather was much worse though. I think it was only like 3 runs and discounted lift tickets, features were minimal though. Roughly 4-5 jibs if memory serves me right. I traveled 1.5 hours and found worth it, go for it if the addiction is eating away.

Looks like they are opening on December 1st according to the interweb site....gonna be rammed but, super sweet to go skiing.

yo guys ill be up at louis this saturday in a yellow "Just Krystal" tee so if youre down to shred im d, i think it should be staying open, its snowing on wednesday in mississauga

I do not know if they will stay open for this weekend with conditions, but the marketing rep said they should. Just make sure to watch their Facebook page or Twitter for up to date details.

As for the park, last weekend it was 2 lines:

Flat box

(An actually fun) Rainbow box

Down shotgun rail.

and

Flat shotgun rail

A frame

Down shotgun rail.

They could be putting in a few more features, who knows.

I just called them and the guy on the phone was kinda spaced out but he said they're closed this whole week, planning on opening friday for the weekend but unsure if they will stay open the following week.

sick job man, looks like it was good conditions last week at least! i just can't wait till everything gets up and running.

Sweet edit, just wish you used that song for a real banger edit because that song funkin rules and I really wanted to use it. On a related note
