FRIDAY, 12/11/09 at 1:00pm. Be here. thats correct, the lifts will be turning at MRM. and yes, there will be park features set up for you all to enjoy. Once i see the snow later in the week, ill keep you posted on the set-up.

YESSSS!! so pumped to have snow under my feet! Can't wait to hit all the new features! too many exclamation points!

By the way Ill be Spyder. Purple jacket, Red Pants and some ASBco. swag for all the skiers who i still need to meet! If you shout out Brian or Steezasaurus, i hit a lap or 12 with you. Friggin Psyched!!

Just got out of the cat... pushed a bunch of snow around. Fingers crossed that we'll have enough for a jump on friday. if not, plenty of space for rails/boxes. but i will guarantee Capital PARK wont dissapoint.

Just wondering with the Rome Pre jib going on Saturday are we still going to be able to hit the features. I just don't want to make drive if we can't hit everything. any info would be good.

I just got off the hill and everything is looking good! The Rome setup will be a completely different than our opening day park. I talked with AL (Park Manager) last night and this morning about the setup, and you are not going to want to miss it!! I might even have to take a sick day......

Alright, heres the deal.

MRM is going to have 2 to 3 sick jumps (not baby jumps where your cousin jonny is betting his buddies in carhartts rounds at the bar that they wont try a 360) These should be jumps where you can bring your camera out opening day to start collecting sick footy for your vid/edit.

I'm confident the jumps will be on sugarbush - if you've never been on or dont know where sugarbush is - its the steepest slope at MRM (next to the park) and is perfect for a 2/3 jump line. Please bring a helmet as it is opening day and the last thing we need is someone getting carted off to start the season.

For those that are not jumpers, you can expect 10+ rail/box features. The pre-jib set-up will be up; however, i doubt that it'll be open to the public until sunday. This will be a truly epic opening day. The weather is going to be amazing and for those that do not have passes, MRM is offering season passes for $249 (via the web) and day passes this friday for only $23. You spend more than that on your gf's each year and I bet their less fun than hitting jumps and rails (where else can you spend that little amount of money and hit something anytime you want).

Come one, come all - tomorrow at 1:00 PM - BE THERE!!!!!

P.S. - Midnight Madness WILL NOT be held this weekend. I believe it starts next weekend, December 18th.

With love,

Terman

DAMN! I will see everyone next Thursday. Sounds like MRM is about to blow everyones opening days out of the water. If i was a kid in the Midwest trying to figure out where i was going to ski this weekend, without a doubt it would be MRM. Keep up the good work Faber.

noaa.gov says....

Yeah im sure of it, they always do a good job of leaving a bunch of stuff open during any competition they have going down... no worries just make it.. thanks for the weather update j-money, better the weather better the mood.

I can't judge jump size for crap so here's a picture from their website

and btw everyone it was SOOOO SICKK!!!!!!!! it was the best opening ive ever gone to! everyone shoud come to mrm it is so sick

Definitely one of the best opening weeks of all time.
MRM's park was definitely the best set-up in the midwest this weekend. If you disagree with me please post pictures of your park to back your disagreement.
I encourage anyone thats had negative thoughts about MRM to give it another chance as its under completely new management with a vision to make Capital Park the top of its class.

thanks for all the support this weekend. hope everyone had a good time and got thier legs back. theres more to come from MRM and Capital PARK!
