There is a solid chance I'll be there all weekend.

There is a rumor circulating that OSU ski club will be there all weekend. PARTY!

The jumps have been getting a make-over since monday and should be ready by this evening. Ill let you folks know how they are after this evening.
 
Really Terman? OSU Ski Club goes "skiing" (aka flies out west to drink in a condo) once a year. OSU Ski TEAM will be there all weekend.

Btw, you can post Mark's concussion shots. It's funny now considering he'll be there on Sat & Sun too.
 
Terman arent you supposed to be working and not on ns. haha, but yeah I hope they are redoing a few things especially tha last jump. Let us know later tonight how it looks, I think I am going to head up tomorrow and check it out.
 
Uhgg, I have E. Coli poisoning. hopefully I'll get better by then. good memories at winterfest. it's a super sick event. good ol' terman tought me 270 on's last year! ahh good times. mrm open is this weekend also. last year they had skier x which was fun haha. hopefully they have a rail jam again but we'll see! hope i get better and see everyone there
 
what is all this interest of seeing me in an ambulance kusball? oh and I would like to thank terman for posting the pics on facebook. I am going to be there this weekend and ride for the first time since. should be lots of fun.
 
Guinea pigged the jump last night. Super floaty and was spinning 9's with ease (claim for me). Fabera Al and co. are moving it back about 15ish too because i was slamming in the flats. Gonna be fun!!
 
its a jump. itll be big enough to do 7s, 9s and your occasional 10.

Im sure MRM's website will have pictures up sooner rather than later.
 
It will be a 90 foot step down with sharks in the deck swimming in toxic lava (obviously in a tank because lava would melt the jump)...so if you come up too short...the sharks will getcha if the lava don't...check it out...it's going to be crazy.....You remember the sharks with lazers on their heads from austin powers? yeah multiply that by like 1000......
 
You forgot one thing heff. There's also going to be a flock/group/herd/troop of rabid baboons swinging from vines al installed on the neigboring trees. scary as aids..but its fun to punch one in mid air occasionally. that's just my two cents on the jump. And yest there are sharks and lava.

got to see the jump that got pushed tonight and it is pretty gnarly.

Its in the same spot as the last big air but looks ALOT more poppy. definitely will be sending people, thats for sure.
 
Was up there last night... conditions are definitely going to be fast... the snow is hard and packed and doesnt feel good to fall thats for sure. They have just one big jump instead of the smaller one like the last comp. Its pretty big, the gap is a lot bigger than the last one... which is good because the landing on the last jump was rough, the landing however, is nice for the first 15 feet then mellows out quickly so if you over shoot its going to be trouble... I am hoping they will dig the landing out a bit more and make it stepper to match the lip of the jump for smooth transitions.

Doubles Were Thrown!!!!!! Spraffys,Spreads, and Shenanigans. Had a blast for the entire entire day and contest. Jump was amazing, thank you park crew.

My only complaint was that mother nature was a little on the nipply side.
 
who placed? what kinda dubs were chucked? i had the unfortunatality of not being able to attend due to work. :[
 
idk for sure, but im guessing buck horn got first in am with his pencil 9 XD and laker probably got first in pro with a right side cork 9 tail or a switch ten mute. i probably messed up the grabs couldnt see very well from where i was.

the event was soo sick that mad props to al, josh, and the whole park crew for putting this event on. ski turnout was great! i had a blast. thanks!

I had a blast. I was too much of a vagina to hit the right jump, but the left jump is made really nice. I wish the landing was a bit longer on the left like it was on the right, but I can't complain too much. Btw, I liked seeing all the "backside" spins.
 
I thought the comp was really fun to watch (wish i could have been able to compete). I got a couple hits in on the jump on sunday and it seemed really nice. Hopefully mrm will be able to leave it up for a while.
 
Does anyone know the photographers who were there pretty much the enitre day? i know the event was like 2 weeks ago, but it's a shot.
