Mr grippy stands.

Snagged the Mr grippy stands for $96 shipped. For that price figured I’d give them a try. Really happy with them. They don’t slide anywhere because of the rubber feet and the skis are locked in place regardless of what direction or side you have them on. Works great for edge work or waxing.

They don't shift even while scraping?

Zero. If you check out the little video you’ll see my pool table cover is moving more than anything else. The stands themselves stay put because of the rubber feet. And the black on top of the stands is more grippy rubber. It’s crazy tacky.

how can it be worth a hundred dollars though, never had a problem with clamps

Just way more convenient than clamps or vices. You can use them literally anywhere on basically any surface. No need for a work bench or table with an edge to clip stuff on. You can literally just throw them on the floor and you’re good to go.

Interesting, I'm impressed. I wonder if I can source the same rubber

Sometimes it’s fun to build your own shit

For sure. I love to tinker and build stuff. This one looks like a lot of work to create a similar product and a lot of relatively expensive material.

A little update. Did the gf’s atomic vantages. Worked as expected.

cleaned up the blades and added some storage wax. Worked great.

have to scrape and brush the cat 108 next.
