i've herd that the ipod battery only lasts 18 months, and is not replacable. does anyone know if this is true? i know they have not been out ALL that long, so maybe this probalem hasn't occured yet for many people if it is indeed true. but seems kinda shitty to pay all that $ for only a year and a 1/2. let me know if anyone's had that problem...
Creative zen touch, basically the same size as an ipod, 20GB, same price, and 24 hour battery life (32 on a lower song bitrate)... thats what I'm getting... ipod just has hype behind it
To get an ipod battery replaced it will set you back 100 bones. It's lame. Creative on the other hand makes their players like cell phones as to where you can replace the batteries yourself. There new player the Zen Touch Micro can use a battery Creative makes that will get you 60 hrs on the road. Shit!
Apple fixed the issue with the ipod's battery, and the new ipod has no problems. And the Ipod is the most proven mp3 player and it has the most songs for the smallest compactiy..and the Zen is no wehre near as slim as the Ipod is..
^actually you're wrong... then zen is the same price and same capacity.... however it supports WMA which has a better compression rate. this means it can fit more songs within its capcity as each file is smaller, yet retains sound quality. dimensions are within a few millimetres
