mozilla firefox tweaks!!

this really works

first you have to download firefox from firefox.com (its an alternate web browsing software that works better for web design). then follow these instructions and ur internet should go so fast.

go to the url, about:config

You will see a whole load of options. Change the following values as stated:

network.http.max-connections = 64

network.http.max-connections-per-server= 20

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server= 10

network.http.pipelining = true

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 100 or 200 (choose one)

nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0

network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0

If nglayout.initialpaint.delay doesnt exist, Right click, new integer.

Optional:

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy = 10

network.http.proxy.pipelining = true

network.http.proxy.version = 1.0

the components are all in alphabetical order, so it isnt to hard to find the ones you have to change. to chang a value, doble click it. make sure that you have the memory to do this though because firefox is a big download.

 
im confused and im not really sure what alot of that shit is, but forefox is not very big.

be advised that i dont know how this will act on ur computer. i have not noticed any slowdown on my computer, but if for any reason this screws up ur computer, dont complain to me.

 
its big depending on where you are saving it and how much space you have on ur hard drive. my brother couldnt download it because he filled up his computer with music.

 
a browser has no really big components so it doesnt take that much room, firefox is the best browser out ther for sure, just DONT use explorer its full of shit and all the pop-ups and viruses come from ther.

I use netscape, its good too.

What does that tweak do? Make you refresh speed faster?

the tweak eliminates the delay time on your firefox. it also increases the amount of times that you are able to request a site. i dont know what else it does, but it makes my firefox go way faster.

Is there anyway of reversing the changes i.e. can you just write down the old values and type them back in or do you have to reinstall firefox if it all goes wrong and your house explodes?????

 
Firefox is the shit... those tweaks worked for me.. they made it load pages faster

i dont wanna try those tweaks, i'm too afraid that it'll start off some crazy code shit in my computer that'll destroy the world.
