Moxie: Greatest Soda Ever?

How can you not love America's first mass produced soft drink? Since 1884, Moxie has kicked ass all over the place. Pepsi and Coca-Cola came onto the scene later, and douchebags who couldn't handle Moxie made them the soft drink powerhouses that they are today. However, Moxie still has quite the loyal following, especially in the New England area (it is Maine's official soft drink). For those of you who know and love it, I consider you a friend. For those of you who do not know it, give it a shot if you ever get the chance. And for those of you do know it and hate it, grow a pair and enjoy it, tastes like love to me.

I haven't tried it but I heard it tastes like gasoline. There is a big moxie convention where all the people that drink ti get toether. not sure where it is though.

it's one of those drinks where you take a sip of it and it's not bad, but then the aftertaste kills you.

then 5 minutes later, you can't believe it, "oh, it couldn't have been THAT bad" so you try it again, and yep, it was.

This continues until you're addicted, and then you don't mind the aftertaste.

Either that, or you're from Maine, a lumberjack, or have more balls than most people.

And yes, moxie festival is in lisbon falls, maine. and it's one of those things you should go to before you die
