Moving to Whistler

I am 19 and have decided I want to get away from the ice coast and am moving to Whistler either next winter 2011 or 2012. I was just wondering what the ballpark rent would be for me and a friend. We were hoping a six month lease (Nov. 1 - Apr. 30). The house does not need to have anything fancy but needs to be either in walking distance of the lifts or a shuttle bus (preferably because we do not have bags of money). If anyone has anyother additonal information that they deem helpful please pass it along. Hope to see you guys soon. Thanks
 
can two people fit fairly comfortable in a one bedroom condo or apartment? i apologize if this is a dumb question
 
be prepared to easily pay 500/month per person. 2 per room. look for places close to a bus route. most are. if you want cheaper go for 1 year lease and move latest september. rent gets expensive starting november.
