Hey Guys I'm moving to spokane in November. Any tips on neighborhoods to look for places to stay. Any bad parts I should look out for? I've never been but it looks pretty cool. Where do you all usually ski? Mt. Spokane looks pretty decent for a quick trip (im from Boston so I'm used to vt/nh/me mountains) How badd is the drive to Revelstoke? It looks like its 6 hrs north or so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In terms of avoiding neighborhoods, it all depends what u can afford. there are nice apartments on the south hill, which i where i live. Mt Spokane is aight. its only a 45 min drive from the south hill which is nice if u wanna sleep in. Most people around here ski at Schweitzer, which is 2 hours away. Problem is Schweitzer is so damn expensive.

browns addition can be pretty cool, but there are also some sketchy areas around there. personally, i get a pass to schweitzer every year. if you have a ride, and you ski a decent amount, its really not terribly expensive. like the guy above me said, mt spokane is close, but its pretty shitty for the areas around here.
spokane isnt a bad city, shoot me a pm if you need any other advice.

Just signed a lease for a place in brownes addition. Be out in mid october. Never been to Spokane before, where are the good bars and stuff. How often do you guys get out to places like Steven's Pass

brown's edition is tight. some interesting characters but a really solid restaurant/ bar area. The Elk and whatever place is next to it are both dope. plus downtown is like 5 minutes away. Zolas has a good happy hour, especially on sundays. lotta solid spots downtown.

spokane is nowhere near revlestoke. i live 6 hours north of spokane, and revlestoke is 3-4 hours north of where i live...
