Moving to slc for residency

I did exactly this 2 years ago now. Depending on where you live, rent can be a pain. In terms of work, apply to something that can get you college tuition reimbursement. I work as a bank teller and it pays well, plus it's super easy. All in all, doable, just live frugally.

How hard would it be to move to slc and find a place/job and gain resedency. Has anyone done this

Both what?

Are you just trying to get Utah residency for cheaper college? Or

Are you trying to get residency to the US?

OH sorry misread. Residency so I can have in state tuition

You must live and work in Utah for at least a year. The tuition reimbursement is a great program that your employer will pay you back for money spent to further you education. Its a great way to work for a year, get your residency then have your employer help pay the bills. Not bad.

Some jobs will help you pay for college tuition after you worked for them for 6 months, i.e. phlebotomist at u of u, or bank teller at university credit union.
