i'm moving to the SLC area when i graduate in a couple of months. does anyone have any recommendations for apartments around the SLC area, PC, canyons, etc.?

price range is around 700 a month or so

you could get a real nice spot for 7 hundo / mo. id say just be checkin craigslist. Apartments in general though, foothill apts are alright it seems like.

Yea I've noticed. I haven't been able to find too many places in PC online and the ones I have found are like 850 a month for like 500 sq ft. I've found some pretty nice ones in SLC/Ogden/West Jordan for around 700 or so.

I would just really like to live like a minute from the mountain, ya know? haha. dreams.

I'm not moving up until after I graduate in May. I'll be telecommuting for my job so I'm able to live anywhere in the country... so I decided I'm moving to SLC for at least a year.

Don't move to ogden! West Jordan is not ideal either. Foothill apartments are probably the closest apartments you could get to the park city resorts, and they are pretty sweet.

yea i lived in foothill place for a year when i first moved out here and it was pretty legit. real close to the mtns and its pretty nice with a hot tub open all year

i will be in the park city area this summer if you need a roommate.

may - august, and i havent signed a lease or anything yet.

When did you live there? I was looking at the reviews for there and apparently they recently changed management a couple of years ago and it sucks now. It's 2 stars on some review sites. Looks sweet though.

Nice. I'm not sure when I'm moving out there though. My graduation is on the 14th of may but my lease isn't up until I think the first of August so I'm not sure if I'm going to stay at Purdue until then or move out earlier. I really want to get the fuck outta here though, so I'll probably move sometime in May (maybe even right after graduation, not sure). I'll keep you updated if you want.

hahahaha... that almost seals the deal. I'm flying out there sometime in the nearerest future to check them out... I'll probably add them to my list simply because they have a hot tub. (and it's open all year)

I lived at foothill place last year. Nice apartments with dope pools and a year round hottub. Expensive for a one bedroom but location is awesome.

No not really. Just cleaning and carpet cleaning fees when I moved out, but thts pretty typical. Make sure you give them 60 days notice when you're moving out even if your lease is ending or they will make you pay for two additional months. Other than that every thing was fine.
