Moving to Park City for a while, help

Hey all. I'm heading out to work at Deer Valley for an internship this winter. I'm 23 and am looking for some locals or people with experience in the Park City area. I'd like to be toured around possibly for a few days to get to know the area. I enjoy hitting the bars for a few occasionally. I'm from Pennsylvania so good snow will be a new treat for me, need some help/advise for skiing out there. Locals who know good spots would be sick, I will have a park ski and an AM ski (Line Influence 105). Any response is appreciated! Mountains I will be skiing are Deer Valley, Park City, and the Canyons.Stoked to be out there!
 
I bet you're stokedd to make it out here man. I drive taxis around the Park City area so hit me up at 435 659 5242 for taxi rides and shreddy times this season! Me and my boyfriend ride pc and canyons. Lot's of fun to be had. Good luck
 
Thanks for the offer! I'm sure I'll call when I'm there so I can gain some area knowledge. My internship is for my hotel management program in college. I will be a bellman/ driver at deer valley. Stoked that people are replying to this thread, helps a ton!
 
I think the name of the place was Prospector. It's either that or River's Edge which is way far away so I hope I'm in the PC location.
 
Yes, that's where they are putting me up at. I don't really have time to research and find people to live with. I'm just winging it I guess. Hopefully my roommates are cool and I meet some rad folks.
 
From Pittsburgh doing a 2nd year at DV instructing, driving across the country as we speak. Good look on employee housing, for the money you can't beat it. Between work & skiing all the resorts the dorm style rooms shouldn't bother you. I was hardly at home my first year except to sleep anyway. PM me and we will shred!
 
PROSPECTOR PALACE! Haha I lived there last year. It's a shithole but it's in town and you aren't stuck down in Heber. If you're coming here to ski you won't spend much time there.
 
Hey man welcome to town! I live in town and moved from Pittsburgh five years ago. I ski around Pc but mostly LCC/BCC. Tuesdays are 3 dollar fish bowls of beer(skooners) and 3 dollar burgers at shucks on main.
 
$3 burgers are now every night... I'll be makin my way to Shucks in a few hrs per usual. Flanagan's has $1 tacos on (I think) Thursdays with $2 well drinks. I'm trying to enjoy eating out on Main these next couple weeks before all the restaurants switch back to rape mode winter prices.

At any rate, welcome to town- I moved here from Virginia in January and absolutely love it. You'll meet people very quickly.
 
Squatters has a pretty legit breakfast /brunch menu on weekends. I think bloodies and mimosas are $2 after 11am on Sundays.
 
anyone else on here have any rooms available or know anyone thats lookin for a chill roomate for the ski season? wouldrather not live in employee housing
 
Loving all the advice, cheap eats and drinks are premium for me, I'll be broke once I get out there so that helps a ton.
 
yeah, i feel like employee housing at deer valley would be pretty bad, most of the instructors are like 50 years old haha
 
My roommate and I just moved to pc from pittsburgh about a month ago.. We're both working at Deer Valley at the Mariposa as bussers but we'll end up riding at Canyons and Park City.. pm me your number if you're trying to meet up and drink.
