Moving to helena

any other NSers there? hows great divide? many pow days? should i get a pass somewhere else?

im in the same sitch as you. im gonna be living like 15mins from GD but i was told i should get a pass to discovery

Great Divide will have a way better park than Discovery but Discovery gets about 30 inches more snow and has more steep and advanced terrain. Great Divide Does not get very much snow but sometimes it will snow a foot or more and the park is decent.

If you want better skiing just drive to Bridger of Big Sky.

helena high for meill say this place is kinda growing on me, gonna go fly fish the blackfoot on saturday and then float the missouri on sunday, and then finish my summer assignments (that i received today) so im gonna be fairly busy

We should totally fly fish sometime dog, me and my roomie have been asking around for the money spots

theres alot of money spots in and around helena, fishing access areas , rivers, and lakes, dont get as much public use in and around helena compared to say, missoula or bozeman etc. but ya ask around for sure. and if you dont find any PM me, i used to live there and have family there and know of alot of "money spots " have fun in MT bro .
