Might have an opportunity to move to colorado. The two places I can choose from are Denver or Colorado Springs. Based on skiing, area attractions, nightlife etc. what are y'alls recommendations?

The springs is sick! better traffic than denver, plus its closer to the sweet ski areas like silverton, wolf creek, and Butte, its still a drive but its dope, and you can still get to the mtn's it just takes an extra 45 minutes, the springs is way more relaxed than denver...and there is no polution cloud floating over the city

Really far from both. Maybe 4 and a half hours from Denver in good weather, just under 4 from Springs in good weather. If you live in Denver, you won't be skiing CB very often. A Basin, Loveland, Winter Park, Keystone, Breck, and Copper are all within 2 hours of Denver. Springs is actually kinda far from the good ski mountains.

not really, 2 and a half from winter park, and 1 hour and 45 from breck, 2 from keystone, and 2 hr. 10 from basin...and we have this secret high way that allows you to avoid major traffic on i-70

here is the 411 on c-springs. highly conservative city with one the highest per capita church ratios in the world. it is the focal point of the evangelaquist movement. home to focus on the family. also csprings is victim of urban sprawl and commericial enterprises. if you read fast food nation it uses csprings as an example of what america should not become. the city is shit and the only cool part is the old north end. the skate parks are also shit. and it is the meth capital of the world.

there are some perks though.u have pikes peak and the garden of the gods and some of the best mountain biking in the world within 10 mintues of the city. no joke.

as far as skiing goes breck is 2 hours away

Sptings aint that bad, World class Mtn. Biking within the city at Plamer Park, cool people if you grew up there, lots of outoddrs right on the doorstep. DEnver is better, but the Springs aint not hell hole

Denver Metro...

Mountain biking is within 20 minutes, a little busier than Csprings probably.. anyway, nightlife is about 9999999999999% better in the Denver area. Closer to the front range resorts as far as skiing, and well, what else do you want to know.

definately denver..closer to the mountains and more to do...if you like the smell of shit then yeah move to greeley or brighton....stick to denver drive to the springs if you really want to go to church or mountain bike

ha half you guys dont even live in the springs, its not as churchy as you think, its an option...its america

It is as churchy as you think. If you have lived there your whole life I am sure it doesn't seem church. But if you are a transplant it is almost like a cult city, or at least most of it.
