So...I just got a new windows computer and and I have no music on it whatsoever. I know that there was a thread about this using the program mytunes redux, but mytunes only works with itunes versions 4-4.7 I know have itunes version 7 im pretty sure. needless to say, mytunes doesnt work, but I still want to transfer all of my music in my itunes library over to this new computer of mine. Both computers are windows, and both have internet on their own wireless network if anyone knows anyhting about this, it would be so awesome.

yea thanks

Ian

if you still have the music on your ipod then:

plug it into the new computer and dont let itunes put the music from there to your ipod

next go to my computer>tools>folder options>view>show hidden files and folders then hit ok...

next go back to my computer and look for your ipod on the list of devices with removable storage. click it.

once you click it go to ipod control and then you should see a folder called music drag it to your desktop and let it copy all the files to your comp. it could take a while.

some comps. you can just drag that folder to your itunes BUT if that doesnt work then....

after thats done go to your itunes and click add file to library and it should bring up another window...find that file called MUSIC. then double click it and it should have all kinds of folders like F01 F02 and so on click one and highlight the first song and hit shift and the down arrow key at the same time. and hit ok repeat the process till theyre all there and it should work. you can also steal music this way too.....

hope i helped cause that took a while to type

this is gonna sound stupid but i dont care. im trying to do this right now cause i got a new laptop and i cant find the fucking my computer folder. i think im going nuts somebody help me out

just download a great lil proggy we like to call Idump.... its free and can sit on ur ipod and run from it.. it will export your whole ipod to your computer with a click of a button and keep all the tags, album art, and order..
