Movies you're stoked to see

A Scanner Darkly & The Science of Sleep, but they BOTH got pulled from the theatres in my town. Im soooo sad :(

I am really looking foward to 300 though.

I was just watching the news and the were hating on dejavu so much. They said that its the most dissapointing movie of the year. I havent seen it is it true?

well I found Deja Vu was a good movie even if the movie takes some time to really start and if the movie goes in some kind of science fiction (I wont say more)

its a good thriller and its worth your ca$h

and btw if you wanna have some "real" critics feedback, Montreal newspapers gave it 3 stars out of 5

Yeah I've been having less and less faith in critics. It's just one person's opinion and I try to judge movies for myself.

umm.thats it i guess...for a while.those are the flims im super stoked on and will definitely be going to see in the next little bit.

then next year of course all the great big blockbusters like spidey 3 and so on and so forth.

stranger than fiction was so good.

in my recent review i declared it the compound film that takes the indie new wave to the mainstream audiences.

along with the likes of little miss sunshine, shop girl, garden state, all the real girls, so on. only this film has big names in it.

just dont go in it expecting a typical will ferrell flick cuz you'll be disappointed if u have that frame of mind.

its funny but not anchorman funny.

alright. i still haven't seen anchorman ( ya i know that's incredibly lame) but I always try to keep an open mind going into a movie

Go see Bobby if you have a change. Historically very accurate and it's based on the day's events from the other people who got shot. Great movie.

will someone try to explain the ending of The Departed...? A guy actually stood up and walked out of the theater that I was in...

NO PLEASE DON'T!!!

If you want to know then make another thread. but,....for those of us who haven't seen it then it would ruin it.

Damn, I read that Peter Jackson was ruled out of directing the Hobbit. But New Line's gonna go ahead and make it without him. Interesting to see how it'll turn out.

HAH

my friend can burn AMAZING quality bootleg DVD's so i own deja vu, 007, depareted, beerfest, jackass, blood diamond and a bunce more.

and green st. hooligans, city of god, memento are all good movies

did anyone else think that casino royale went on FOREVER. it just wouldnt end, it was really good, but i wanted to leave so bad and the movie stretched on for like another hour.

and i didnt think rocky balboa was too good, it wasnt too interesting to me

i want to see the persuit of happyness

I'm not sure how people are stoked on 300. It looks terrible. Some of the past works that Miller has had a significant hand in (such as Sin City) turned out great, but I don't know if twisting up Thermopylae and the Spartan wars with some weird shit (including the looks of horrid scripting) is the way to go. But who knows, maybe it'll grow on me before it comes out, but for the time being, each time I see the trailer, I get shivers because it looks so bad.
