Movies that have messed you up for life

you know the movies that just mess with and ever since you can't stop thinking about it. for me it was that damn movie The Truman Show. i always think like everyone is fucking watching me.
 
Chronicles of Narnia.

Seriously, the possibility of finding a porthole into another world just seems that much more likely... made me wonder what else could be possible, that I have yet to experience.
 
Requiem For A Dream

Pi (both excellent Aronofsky movies, he is a genious)

Basically all Lynch movies, especially Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive

I also have to mention Memento, Waking Life, Wicker Park, Donnie Darko, Being John Malkovich

these are all movies that really have left me thinking for days, sometimes weeks, in some cases years (lynch)
 
For sure on Lynch. He's a brilliant guy.

Being John Malcovich also kicked serious ass. I forgot that's in my DVD collection somewhere. Thanks!
 
Saving Privite Ryan.

So historical and shows what it was like.

I would not want to go to war and thats the thing i fear the most, the fideo is so raw.
 
I watched that movie and now I just hate people in general. That movie has made me go from viewing other people as fellow human beings to heartless, selfish monsters.

I want to see that movie really bad, I keep hearing its incredible.

But that gremlins movie had me fucked up for a while, I always thought they were hiding in my room waiting to attack me, but then I moved onto 6th grade and it was okay.
 
The Trumen show definately.

I saw Gorkey Park and Hokus Pokus when I was about five, the witches still give me night sweats. And I still see the room where they cut people open, with like 5 dead bodies with their faces all magled.
 
YES, THE TRUMAN SHOW. that is exactly what i thought of when i saw the title. it totally changed the way i looked at the world.
