Movies now a days suck

Todays movies always have the same thing over and over. They have either Big Mountain or jibbing scenes. I get so bored with these movies. What happend to way the used to be? Remember P-Tex Lies and Ducktape or Blizzard of ozz now those movies kick ass. They tell a skiing story , they dont have a 50 person list of skiers they showcase the best of the best or whoever. i want movies to get back to the basics, to tell storys about epic powder days in BC or in France. Im sick of watching the same tricks over and over again. Yes I still buy all the new movies today , but in general they get old after watching them 15th time. The only movie Ive seen try to do this was Chapter 3 which I loved , but I watchd it too much so the tape broke, but anyways do you guys know what Im trying to say?

 
ditto. its like, 'tanner hall' then shows like 50 clips of him doing something i've seen him do like 10000000 times in other movies. and etc for every1 else. once in a while tho some sick stuff comes out like the backflip to rail and candide's huuge cork 5 and stuff like that...but i see what ur saying. high society was cool cuz of that. theyh had the boat trip and all sorts of other stuff. but propaganda and stuff just had scenes of skiers. but the loop was sick. so maybe a few sick new things have come out...but i think they should do what ur saying. tha'ts much better. agree

 
you retarded? high society sucked for repeating shit - tanner's segment is a bunch of flatspins on some hips, evan's is a bunch of 3's off the same hips - at least pbp doesn't use the same trick and jump from like 7 different angles.

What about movies like mind and the addiction. I felt that did a great job of representing the feeling of skiing. Most people on here hated it. but i loved it. But thats me. It is a more melloer movie in terms of wicked powder runs and some of the music but it had tons of crazy stuff in there to.

Yes they are called vivid films and they are one of the leading company's in the industry with some of the biggest stars in their movies.

boys, its all about SKI SCHOOL, and to a lesser extent, SKI SCHOOL 2. its old school at its finest, and it fuckin rocks. dont try to say old school sucks cause theres no way wed be where we are today if the old school freestyle movement didnt happen.

Warren Miller is always good to, it showcases the athletes as people, not just skiing machines sent back through time to change the world for some lucky fans

 
Jibtech: _DECAfilm is a film company I am starting up. My name is Derek Cameron, I took the DE from my first name and the CA from my last and added film. I later found out about DECA skateboards and videos which kinda pissed me off because it may seem like I tried to copy the name.

But I kept the name anyway cause I like, two different sports anyway.

Im not trying to diss out the movies today, I think their amazing but it would cool if someone came out with mvie like P-tex or blizzard of ahhs or whatever, so stop being assholes about. Im just pointing out something
