movie progression?

is it me or have major movies like 1242, rfa, ski movie w/e.. the editing hasnt changed its been the same boring time lapsed shots of some random dude reading, those unnecesary lense flair things where it gets all red on the screen, the need to not have sound on rails? bad jokes? i actually like the editing of most amateur ski movies where its not all slowed down, where every shot isnt of some guy taking a pic and u see his flash in every scene, it just seems so faked like every urban rail doesnt seem really urban like planned ..

Some random dude reading? You're not making any sense.. Look at snowboarding movies,OMG,even they have timelapsed shots and that weird firey light edit thingy wingy,they must've been like that for SOOOOOOOOOOO long...asshole. The editing in 1242 bounced up so much from Happy Dayz,straight from Tanner's part he jumps and lands TO THE BEAT. Almost the whole movie Forward is so well edited to the beat of the tracks,that didn't happen last year. So yeah,you're entitled to an opinion but you manage to be in the smallest group at the time,the haters. So fuck you.

PS: that orange thing is called a burn out, or burn in, when you change a roll of film the first few feet of it get exposed to sunlight, thus washing it out, making it white, the deeper it gets into the roll the light penitrates less and less turning a shade of red and orange, then it dissapears completely, giving it a 'burned' look. The same thing happens when you take the film out of the camera when you are done with the roll. If you don't like what you see, make your own movie, thats what I did, then people can tell you how much they like or dislike what you made, and you can be like, fuck you, I like it.

Ok do this for me, watch 13, then the game, then propaganda, then happy dayz, and then session 1242. If you say there is no video progression from watchin those you must be fuckin blind. 1242 is what skiing needed and next year i hope poorboyz comes up with something that follows that, cause it's gonna be hard. The music was ill too, it wasn't the same old shit.

 
Greg Stump was editing to the beat more than ten years ago, and it was done before him, too.

It's hard to break out of the mold of the sports video, that's the problem.

 
I agree with what some of this guy is saying, not all of it, he should learn to put full stops in writing (periods) BUT anyway, i think maybe they should chage the forula, not the editing or music thats was all sick, just the formula of how it goes together, i mean, thats why propaganda was such a big hit, and the gamne was too, they were different formulas of scenes n shit, its hard to explain, but with saying that, i don't no how it could change.. but yea...
