I think it was so much better in the past where it was so nice punk rock. Not its only freakin rap n techno n that doesn't get u pumped for shit if u ask me... a least a few movies r trying to put a little a both. But i had a hard time enjoying stuff like high five cause the music was so freakin horrible

I am going to have to respectfully disagree. As you will notice in my post about Mtn Biking... MSP's music choices are horrendous.

When Global Stoming, and Fetish, and such came out, this heavy 'stoke' music was pretty in style. As skiing has evolved, so have musical styles. Skiing isn't really seen as an Xtreme Sport (like ski diving, or bungee jumping). No one wants to hear a bunch of shitty rap-rock, or screaming 3 chord punk any more...

I really like Plehouse's choice of music in their films...diversity is where it's at. Ever seen a snowboard flick? THe music ranges from electronic, to punk, to hip hop, to rap. There is too much good music out there that can be used incredibly well to add to an already sick ski segment.

Plehouse's music was good But movies with only rap really pisses me off. Having both n more is better but having a good old punk rock song we be fun, it doesn't have to be the whole flick. I was really dissapointed in high five's music

the best band to ever be used in a movie was the faint, 'agenda suicide' in afterbang to be exact. i'd like to see more of the faint in movies...has anyone ever used 'glass dance' in a movie?

Yeah, I don't really love it when the only genre in a film is rap/hip hop. Although MSP's selections usually lick the bag, I thought Seth's seg in Focus (Dramamine by Modest Mouse) and Rainville's seg in Yearbook (Tonite by Spiderbait) were incredible. Those songs are so chill and unassuming, but fit the segment perfectly.

the faint is tight and all ... but as a personal preference.. i really would not feel stoked to go skiing with that playing in my ears

Eastcoast... are you 13, and just learning how to comprehend the english language? Let me clarify, because you made it obvious that you are just getting a handle on written communication....

Hip hop and rap are good... i love it.. but not as the ONLY genre in a film. To reiterate, there is A LOT of good music out there that can be used to accent good footy.

i think any music not depressing and slow is good for movies. In more and more movies they are using way too mellow or just plain weird songs(Wicked). I like movies with music that pumps you up, not depress you.

i like poor boyz. they seem to just always have a more fun feel to them, and i think the music is a big part of that, for sure.

to bigkstylie... SNOWBOARD MOVIE MUSIC SUCKS. its ALL rap. and ive seen a fair number. i'm not sayin that raps bad but snowboard movie music has no variety.

We need variety. we should have everything from metal(slipknot yea!), metal (old classic shit like megadeth!) to rap to punk to. Technos good to. Some old music like frank sinatra or the beatles would be good as well. get some elvis or some oscar lopez.

And no one htat listens to nothing but rap should call anyone a fag, since most rap (there is some good stuff) licks balls.

We need variety!

Snowboard movies dont suck im live out east coast and most my friends are boarder so i hear theyre stuff. Robot Foods with lame and after has the best songs of any movie in the past 5 years
