Movie Maker Burn

I made a little edit of ski clips in Windows Movie Maker. I want to burn the edit to a DVD, and be able to watch it like a movie. However, there is no "burn" option available (when in the past Ive been able to do so... i think), and I can only save it as a .MSWMM file (when I want a .MOV).

^help please?

Open Movie maker, open up your project.

hit file in the upper bar, than hit publish.

you should than be given a bunch of options saying you can save it to DVD or your harddrive.

That should be it

Also, you can compile the clips into a Windows Media Player file (this can take a while) then put that on a DVD using a different program.

alright, so ive managed to save it to my hard drive as a .wmv file, which is progress. I can play it in Windows Media Player, but when I go to burn it, it says that its not possible because "all of the files have errors or are missing burn rights". What do I do now?

btw thanks for the help.

No worries.

What program are you using to burn? If its some funky one that came with the computer, try downloading Sony Architect 5.0 for free from Sony. Its just the trial for 30 days but hey, that's more than enough right?

Play around with that, it's actually pretty sick. Hopefully this solves it, I'm banking on the assumption that right now you're using some dumpy Windows program to burn.

^I actually was able to save it by exporting it, and doing some crazy methods that one of my friends showed me. I looked into the architect program, and its sick. so thanks for that and the rest of your help!
