unparalleled skiing from markus, this has nothing to do with the skiing in the video, just the filming/editing. there are some suspect things going on maybe?
1:05 basic one, cut angle and full angle are different hits. not really a big deal maybe just covering up a flail or something but still, smh, the make is the one to use.
8:13 backflip out of the truck? no chance you could get that speed/air from just the truck stopping. no angles do it justice either, the side angle is below the plane of the bed and jump so you can't see his feet on the snow, would be too easy to SFX. then after it goes to the cut angles, behind and the dynamic shot in front, neither of those clips show marcus skiing off the truck, he's already in the air.
2:45 this is the main conspiracy for me. i doubt the rodeo out of the cave, i think it's SFX editing a rodeo from a different jump into that scene. i believe that they forsure went in there and built that jump. the lighting is all wrong on the drone shot that has the landing, let alone it does a weird digital "bump" movement like they were splicing clips together. if you look at the BTS video they show the POV gopro landing and the outrun is totally different and there are more tracks in the landing. they have a POV clip of getting winched through the tunnel but don't show the actual jump or flip part of it.
i mean, it's a red bull video, obviously there are embellished bits and its not meant to be taken seriously in the reality of it. like suspend your disbelief and all that shit. but at what point is it deceptive to be doing fake shit to make it seem like it isn't? when that gets in the way of the skiing? and i want to get shut down rn wearing my tin foil hat, i want some leaked BTS iphone clips to prove me wrong about my skeptic shit.
