I've been there a few times en route to banff, it was a really nice place and I wouldn't mind lving there.

I been to Calgary many times and I would definetly not mind living there.

i moved here for school 2 years ago, and love it. the city is really fun and everyone is super friendly. other than the few extreme cold days in the winter its a great place to live.

lived here all my and i love it, i wouldnt live anywhere else, great skiing, beautiful ladies, fun city, great party town (calgary has the most bars to people in north america) always lots of great stuff to do, always snow! haha it snowed a few feet only a 1/2 hour drive from my house over the weekend!

I dont know what calgary you guys live in, but when I stopped, when driving from Quebec to whistler, the only restaurant open after 10 was Boston Pizza. No one walking in the street, it looks like a dead and boring city, or may be im too used to montreal...which has incredible nightlife and everything is open 24/7...

I lived there for the majority of my life and i must say it isnt bad. just dont live in any asian nieborhoods, or you will get sniped, or caught in the crossfire of a streetrace.

well in that case you should like it! and there is lots of stuff to do at night and restaurants open late... you just have to know where to go.

It's a cool city, I just moved back to Calgary after living in Canmore (an hour West) last week. Last night I learned the kind police men arn't quite as lenient as the cops I am used to, so don't drink on the C-train unless you think that a beer is worth $115...
