i'm remounting my candides and i had salomon and i'm gettting look how much would it change. or should i just get new skis

Im pretty sure you can remount skis once but anytime after that they aren't any good. The holes have to be a certain distance apart too.

actually, the ski doesnt start to become weak enough from remounting till about the 3rd or 4th remount. so yeah, i would prolly remount your candides, you want to

yeah, 3 mounts is usually the limit for a ski, after that it starts to get fucked. and if you're going from salomon bindings to look bindings, i dont think it'll be too big of a deal, they might have to alter your midpoint a tiny bit either forward or backward, maybe it'll work out to keep the original one though...but yeah, go for it.

if you have had to remount your ski 3 times, the rest of the ski is probably shot anyways. Going to the look binder should not be a problem, because the heel mounts much further to center than the salamander.

Make sure that the new and old holes don't have a space that is less than the diameter of a screw between them.
