Mounting Volkl Walls ?

Hey Dudes.

I need some help for my mountin point.

I am 6'0 and 170 pounds.

I would call myself a pretty good skier ( i race fis and ski everything else).

I want to ride 33.3 % park ( more jumps, less rails, almost no pipe), 33.3 piste and 33.3 bc (kickers, mini golf lines, little jibs)

where should I mount my Walls? true center doesn't sound good for bc and piste.

maybe -2 cm back?

any suggestions?

thanks

Forgot to mention.

I ski the alps.

This is the only Twin i own, therefore it really is an allmountain ski. I totally want to ride everything with it.

No offense man, but it sounds like you got the wrong ski. The Walls are designed to be mounted centre. They are a park only ski, but they do ski great outside of the park. I wouldn't mount them anywhere other than centre. Look at some Volkl Bridges, they sound better for what you want to do.

Not mounting the wall center would be like mounting a non symetric twip tip in the center which plenty of people do, so it wouldn't be a huge deal if you didn't mount center, but I'd definitely recommend center mounting them

I don't ski really deep pow. therefore a 87 mm waist is okay.

bridges don't do that well on piste and also not in the park.

the wall is an allmountain twin leaning towards park and piste. therefore okay.

and i got a good deal.

topic:

i don't want to center mount, because i'm afraid of missing pow abilities.

-1 or -2 back sounds right?

guys?

that would do nearly nothing performance wise...u got go at least -4 to get a diff feeling from true centre...and thats prob what i would recomend

between -4,-5ish due to doing 2/3 of ur time outta the park

I'd say 3-4 back would be ok, which lenght did you get anyway? I'm guessing the 185, of you got a shorter lenght just mount them true center because it won't be much of a ski offpiste anyway ;-)
