Mounting Thugs

Alright, Havent decided where to mount these yet

but i will be using them on deep powder days

i ski at kicking horse so its steep there and everything, i want to start getting better at the switch powder landings and skiing but im not sure that i want to mount them forward since im going to be charging lines and everything thing

So, im not sure if i should mount them center or 1cm back

I honestly have no idea. However, on friday at school I asked a friend for one of her tampons and I put it into the sink full of water. Those things expand alot-like HUGE! It was a pretty cool experience. Y'all should try it.

Probably my first useless post in a very long time.

As for mounting, if you want switch prefromance, I would say true centre, but I have no background with the thugs, so Im not sure how they would preform. -1 couldnt hurt for swicth or regular, so I think that would be your best bet.

For a more accurate opinion, PM Rex. He's the team manager for Atomic, and I think he could give you a pretty good idea of where to mount-alot better than I could.

Hope that helps!

ive never skied kicking hoarse but i know its 2hours from were i lived and i herd u get lots of pow, its steep, and u got no park...im guessing u will be doing alot switch of cliffs and BC kickers so im not really sure where u should mount...ill say right away thou that 1cm will make the most slightesl difference...one that u prob wouldent even notice from true centre...id say if u wanna still charge with ur thugs as well maybe go -3 or -4 from centre...if ur thinking of butterin around in the pow and fuckin around alot then go centre

thats what i think

yep, no park, but i am going to be wanting to do and land switch of cliffs an booters, so center sounds good?

Sounds good. I dont think you would notice much of a difference between centre and -1, so you may as well just go centre.

he's my size, like 6'2. centre, the ski would seem too short. One doesn't need a ski mounted centre to land switch. It's not a rule. Anyways, i still stand by my guns and say -3. It's still prettty damn far forward.

yea, i forgot to mention my hieght

but, i do want enough ski to charge still, next year i'll be getting ants to replace my prohpets.

but for now, thugs are my big big days, those all out lovley days

man im stoked

i would go -3cm as some others suggested. -1 is hardly a difference on a big ski like that. The thug is fat enough were its still gonna flow switch in pow, plus, i think the added length up front will make them feel a little more comfortable when your charging.
