Mounting the invaders

with the pre-drilled holes...can u still center mount the invaders with bindings other than the reactors? i have rossi axial 110s and i was wondering how it would work. same with the chronic and elizabeth and any Line ski. would thee be a problem of the pre-drilled holes interfeiring with wholes needed to be drilled?

p.s. i havent gotten my invaders and ive never owned line skis so this is just a question i had in my head all day and wanted an answer for. lol

Yea man, that's no problem, just go to your ski company and say, "Hey bitches, I want these beasts center mounted with these here bindings, one ski like this, the other ski like this (refering to whatever you want front to be since the two are identical) and then you say, sey my DIN at 6, and while you're at it, give me a complementary hot wax." Yea, that's how it works.

I don't think the 4 pre-drilled holes would allow for any other bindings aside from the Reactors to be mounted. The threaded inserts are mounted deadcenter, so if you mounted for instance a heelpiece for a binding using the 4 threads, The toe peice of the binding would have to be super far up from center, so the binding would not be centermounted like it needs to be. It would be the same if you used the 4 threads for the toepeice, your heelpeice would be super far back so once again the ski would not be centermounted. I'm sure you could use(on one ski) the two front inserts(yes im aware that the ski is symetrical) to tighten the toe peice of the binding in, and use the 2 back inserts to secure the heelpiece. But this would only work if you had mens size 4 feet you know what I'm saying? Am I just lost here? Because it seems to me that this really would not work. I just got my invaders in yesterday so I would appreciate some sort of response as to how I am supposed to mount my S912TIs on my invaders....

^um....unless you have reactors, you cant use the line pre drilled holes. your shop will drill holes your toe and heel piece.

Is this guy serous? The shop would drill completely new holes, and the setup would still be center mounted.

Yeah I'm serious god damnit. Ok then thanks for the response. The shop will drill new holes for me, but the pre-drilled holes will be of no use to anyone who isnt using the reactor binding as I was trying to explain in my previous post. For some reason those fools thought you could just go ahead and mount any binding you want in those 4 inserts but apparently this isnt so.

what fools, they said that the 4 holes are right in the middle so they wouldnt be a problem mounting regular bindings. meaning that the bindings would be mounted around the predrilled holes. i dont see anywhere, besides your post indicating that they would try and mount a heel piece or toe peice in the predrilled holes.

If your shop thought that you could mount any binding in the pre-drilled holes, you need to go to a new shop.

yea...i havent gotten my skis yet so i dont really know where the pre-drilled holes are but thanks guys should be an awsome season. cant wait to ride my invaders

The holes are dead center of the ski since the holes in the line binding are in the center of the binding, and just like others said if you mount center with non line bindings then the predrilled holes will very likely end up sitting in between your toe and heel pieces.

Thank you. Sorry for my stupid posts I got damn confused there and I thought those guys were talking about actually using the pre drilled holes to mount a non-line binding but they were not. How does a shop centermount a ski exactly? Where do they measure from and stuff?

are u saying u have the cronics and the elizabeths also? if u do then just invest in a pair of reactos and i will cover all your skis. and no the holes wont interfere they are dead center, but should you mabye buy like somehting in them so they dont rust?
