umm....if you have old skis that you got for free from the 70's go for it

but do NOT try to mount skis that are at all valuable especially without a jig, it's harder than you could ever imagine

Hmmmm. Mounting skis, no jig, baaaaaaaaad idea. I've seen friends that ski tech do it and stuff it up. And they do it all the time. You need the jig, the right drill bit, glue, and you can still stuff it up. Get a shop to do it.

 
DEFINITELY DON'T TRY IT... I work at a shop and even with a jig you have to make sure you dont do anything stupid. Without it is a very bad idea. A few weeks ago we had some skis in that i believe the ass clowns at ski market mounted because they were Nashoba Valley rentals, and whover did it used the wrong bit and drilled throught the fucking base. It was hilarious, because it was a shitty rossi Cut with a bunch of holes in the base. Pay for a shop to do it, and dont go to ski market.
