Mounting skis in Boise?

Anyone got opinions on shops to get skis mounted at around Boise. I'm new to Boise, I've got 2 pairs I need to mount, one AT one normal. Not sure what shops are good and won't charge me $40 per mount/who I can easily talk into accepting beer or food for mounts.

There has to be some place.

Greenwoods used to be the place to go, but they want 40$ now... As far as having chill guys try eco lounge, i bet most of those guys would mount skis for beer/ a smoke out

The guys at Eco Lounge are super chill, and although Greenwoods has been the place to go since i was 3 i'd still go to Eco, the environment is less snooty it seems.

Exactly this.

although, i've heard some terrible stories from mcu's.

I'd definitely go with greenwoods.

Does Idaho Mountain Touring mount skis?

NOT pedersens. i used to work there and trust me, you do not want them to touch your shit.

I'd say greenwoods or Eco. they actually know what they're doing. i have to agree with what was said above about the atmosphere at each location too. Eco is chill. Greenwoods is kinda snobby. Then again it really depends on who you talk to and how busy it is when you go in. i've had great service at both places.

went to eco, they charge half as much $20 compared to greenwoods $40. Here's to hoping everything gets mounted right, I've not had the best luck with my shit in the past couple years.

Welcome to Idaho!

greenwoods is the most reliable but i could only see the eco guys mounting skis for beer/a smoke up, ive heard rumors of them blazing down in the tech room in the basement on several occasions

you guys are complaining about $40/mount? damn, every shop i'd ever been to on the east charges at least $60, the shop i worked at charged $75

that's highway robbery. I've mounted skis before on my own, I just don't have jigs and wanted it done right this time. But ya, mounting skis takes 15 minutes and is not very difficult.

it's because of insurance. people have attempted to sue our shop before because of a "bad mount". i've seen people come in and claim we drilled the ski right but forgot to put in screws. when in reality they went home and took screws out themselves.

people suck.

Ya I've figured it out. Not wanting to attempt a first pair of nice skis with my new 9s, but I want to do it in the future if I ever find some used that bindings need to be remounted.

I wrote out instructions cause I was board in school today, its not that hard, I just don't want to try them on brand new skis and bindings...

all I have is shitty racing skis with broken bindings.. and old skis that its not even worth trying to remount them because I would have to buy some plexi..
