Mounting Salomon Foils

I just bought a pair of 182 Salomon Foils and i am going to put some s912 ti bindings on them, i ride pretty evenly between park, groomers, and backcountry, if i center mount the skis will they still ride pow and backcountry well? any advice from people that have Foils or have skied them?

I have them and rode the all last year at core center and loved it. It's perfect for all mountain and park (less than 2 cm from center), and is decent in pow, but you still need to lean forward a bit. I'd def mount them there, mounting them center messes with the sidecut and all mountain performance and you really don't gain much from mounting center.

I figured hijaking an old thread is better than making a new one, anyways. 174's or 182's? I am about six one, i will be skiing park big mt. (pow) and groomers when i have to, so basically the whole mt. I live in Southern Oregon my mt. has like 1,200 vertical and we don't a get a ton of snow. I would probably be mounting them a few cm back from center. What do you guys think? Thanks, Jake.

yeah if thats your only pair of skis then centers probs the way to go, wouldnt you haveta lean farther back for pow tho not forward?
