Mounting question

Probably gonna get moved to gear talk but I have a pair of 2011 armada JJs that I’m gonna rock for pow skis this year. They’re 185s, do I mount them at the recommended -5 from center or somewhere else? I’ve never mounted anything other than dead center on park skis so idk how the difference is gonna affect my ability to ride them.

And if anyone knows where a paper jig for Salomon warden 13 MNC bindings is online god please pm me asap

i ride my jjs at -2.5 from true center. Always measure the ski first and don't just go off the recommended line that is printed on the graphic cuz Armada (among other brands) might not be the exact true measurement

Yeah those have the best scaling and are the most true I’ve seen. Remember to keep scaling at 100%. Some templates out there (cough*binding freedom*cough) are god awful.

also, put painters tape or that brown box tape over the skis so you can mark and measure

as someone said above i ride line at -2.5 as well

If you usually center mount your park skis you would probably prefer being about -2.5 from center instead of -5

Fuckin eyeball it dude, only core skiers eyeball the mounting. The crooked bindings have become the newest trend.
