I bought a pair of Line 1260s and they were originally mounted with last years Reactors and theyre now mounted with Salomon Tis but the 4 holes are still there from the old mount. Should i fill these holes if im not gonna ever use reactors? Thanks

i would do that, but i bought them used and the kid had to warranty the reactors, thus no screws. I would think filling them would be the thing to do because 4 large holes into the core = weaker ski i would think

The reactor holes are filled with a metal tap as any snowboard is. It will not make a difference if you plug them or not. The ski's integrity was developed with those holes in mind so it won't do a thing to plug them, unless you plan on getting reactors. in that case you don't want the taps to rust up.

it will be barely noticeable. so yeah, don't worry about it. they are meant to be stainless steel, so technically they shouldn't, but they do discolor a bit.

dont put ptex in there, go to your shop and have hole plugs put in, they have special plugs for filling old binding holes.

I'd think the wax thing would be a good idea. Protects the holes from rust, plus all you have to do is melt it out if you ever want to use the Reactors again.

Have you ever seen a little kid slide back down the inrun of a kicker without going over? This is why parents shouldn't dump their kids off anywhere near the park...
