Mounting question.

Forget about the model of ski,I'm guessing if you where going to mount at +1(for park) it would be a symmetrical ski. Why would anyone mount here? would you not get better balance turning and stability regular and fakie from a true center mount?

Yes you would there is no reason to mount it anywhere else.

i think i remember hearing that dumont does to help grabs somehow.... but just mount recomended. thats where the ski was made to be ridden

infront, so youd have more tail then tip

I had skis like that when I was young(er) and stupid. They were Salomon Thrusters mounted 1 cm ahead of true center. I figured that skiing forward is not a problem, so I should mount them a bit forward to make switch skiing easier.
Well, mounting like this made the skis feel horrible. Who would have thought.
