Mounting question

can you remount a ski with holes that are already drilled and pluged?.

you mean mounting in the same holes? i NEVER would... but i guess technically you could with heli-coils.

Use a dental pick to pull the plugs out. If the threads are still intact, you can give it a try. or just helicoil it.

Yes. I've done it many times. A few more people will reply here saying not to do it, with zero basis for their opinions.

It really is dependent upon whether you can cleanly remove the plugs and what shaped the thread are in. helicoils really are the safest option. I have remounted in used holes before. I cleaned the threads with the appropriate tap and i was good to go.

Yeah just try it. If the screws bite you're good. If not, mount somewhere else.
