Mounting Question

Okay, so chew me out anyway, i've used the searchbar but i want a more specific answer than what i've seen so far so here it goes..

I bought some t-halls (last years model) in 160cm. i just bought some look px12's and want to know a little bit about center mounting. i would be skiing only park with them, and if not park, just groomed trails. there isn't much BC or Pow Pow in Wisconsin just to let you know.

what exactly is core center, is that where the center weight of the ski is if you were to balance it on your finger? and then true center is tip to tail exact center?

So, Center mount these bitches? what would you do?

There is no "core center" on armada, thats K2, and it is pretty much "recomended". true center is sick for park, i rocked it, but since your ski is a 160, the "recomended" is gonna be like 1-2 cm back from center, so i say just do recomended.

ok no one here has it right yett, so i'll try

true center is the measurement of the ENTIRE ski divided by two, so in your case with them being 160's, the true center is at the 80th centimeter mark,

core center is the center of the core of the ski, it can be anywhere on the ski but is usually the reccomended point

running length of the ski is the distance between where the ski touches the ground at the tip and the tail, from that you can find true center of the running length which isn't always true center of the ski, but its close
