Mounting positions

Yes i know... mounting positions get brought up all the time... but I just want to make sure this is a good idea before I mount them up...

I have 2 pair of Mad_trix's & 2 pairs of Look's--

_ 172cm for ~70% park and 30% all mountain...

where to mount??? I was thinking about 1.5-2 cm back from center mount.

&

_ 181cm for ~80% all mountain and 20% park...

where to mount??? I was thinking about 1.5cm forward of normal mounting position.

--Thanks.

....i usually like to mount her doggystyle

-oh you meant BINDINGS?

correct me if i'm wrong, but if you mount one pair 1.5 cm back from center, and one pair 1.5 cm forward of normal mount, won't you have two pairs of skis mounted in the exact same spot? you should just center mount the shorty's and use them all for park, and normal mount (or maybe 1 cm forward from normal) the long ones and use them for all mountain, because if you use them both in the park you won't have any skis with edges and riding hardpack/ice will be a bitch.....just my opinion cuz i like to have a pair of skis with edges to ski the mountain (and the pipe)

for the 172s i would just get straight up center mount. it doesn't feel that different when you ski and when your riding switch you reap the benefits big time

I ran three miles yesterday, finally I said 'here lady take your purse'

martock ya bastard u beat me to it

Haha... doggie is def. one of the best!! **See quote.

But for the mounting... 1.5 back from center and 1.5 forward from normal are def. not the same setting. Especially since people are mounting +1 +3 +5 from normal. maybe it'd be close if the skis were the same size, but they aren't. I could def. be wrong, but are there any other opinions??

what you're talking about sounds good. i ride blue 169 teneighties that i mounted 1 cm back from center and they're perfect. they feel really light on your feet. and mounting the 181 a little forward, but not much, like you have it, should be hot for all mtn.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
