This is my first pair of fats, and i have no clue if i should mount the mid sole or center. Im moving out west in january, hopefully ill have a chance to try and land switch in pow. Do i really have to have the skis center mounted to land switch?

aight well i have mine mounted at -1 from True as well.

i have anthems too, and skied those for everything last year, including some deep pow pow and i didn't really even get tip dive once on those skis. i figure that they bacon's will ski similarly tip dive wise, but will be more floaty and better considering the increased girth. i dont think 1 back will be too much of a problem but i probably shouldve gone 2 back to be safe.

Mine are like -2 and I get tip dive sometimes in PNW snow if its like 3 feet of fresh but it's not that bad really. +1 from true seems way too far forward though, even for an all mtn. mount.

I'd say -1 or -2 is a good all mtn. mount, and rec is good for 100% pow.

Fun ass ski any way you do it.
