Mounting moment wildcat 108

I’ve recently acquired a pair of wildcats and it’s gonna be my first non dedicated park ski and I’ve got no clue where to mount it, currently thinking about mounting 2-3 cm back

i’d go with 2 cm infront of the recommended line. that’s my go to for more directional skis. i think the rec on that is -6 so than you would be -4 which is pretty perfect for a directional ski in my opinion.

I have my 108 cats at -5. I would NOT go any more forward. I would go rec or -5. The ski and land switch perfectly fine as is.

How’s -6 for sw skiing and general park skier on big mountain skiing

Absolutely fine. If you’re doing way more park then I’d say -5 like the Wildcat 101. But for a great balance -6 works.

Have skied the 108 at recommended and +2. Rec is smoother turning, chargier, pretty much better in every way. If you wanted to mount behind rec you'd be better suited with the Countach.

My 101s are -2.5cm, I’d go -3 or -4. Favorite skis, they’re on their 3rd season and still are fun af

Haven’t rode wildcats but my Kartel’s are mounted at rec at -4 and they feel very centered still and ski switch great. The -6 recommended point won’t feel too far back, maybe go -5 like some were saying but recommended will typically ski best.

Stoked for you picking these up! They’re gonna be a blast at big sky. It’s so so nice having a non park ski that will last for many seasons and can have nice edges.

Moment's recommended line is always spot on. For most other brands, I call the recommended line the Dad Mount, but Moment nails it

I'd say -3 is good for a non-dedicated park ski. At least it is where I ski mine Wildcats 101. To me, it gives a feeling of little more shovel to push on, not very long tails, but imbalance is still not very noticeable while throwing tricks.
