has anyone ever done this? my friend was gunna do this with some TM's but he did not.. i figure this would only be good if you skied switch, like a lot.

I think that the salomon dumonts were designed to mount true center and in fornt of center. I guess then that simon dumont like it mounted that way. maybe im wrong

I know someone who has, he liked it. But I don't think I would.

someone else on this site had his Troublemakers mounted at +2 from the dead center of the ski. It might be interesting, but I still don't mount skis at dead center, I always go about a 1 cm back.

ture center is in the exact middle of the ski no matter what. core center is in the middle of the ski's dimensions

i am about 2 inches forward of the true center of the ski, i have this done on my invaders, and i love it, i can ski these skis as well as any other ski i have ever been on, they hold edge great and i have even had them in waist deep pow and they have performed well, of course i mostly ride park and they are great for switch, but i find they are great both ways!

ive done it before, if you dont plan on skiing anything outside of the park, it actually works quite well. u can land forward on them and be fine, and skiing switch is way easier, just dont plan on skiing any podwer or anything remotely steep

Yea,uhm if your around tahoe you know who Sean Carrey is .He mounts his skis something crazy like half an inch or more forward of center.

i was talking to a rep from an unnamed company and he said that all of their skis are designed to be mounted at least 1 inch forward from dead center.

I'm not trying to call you out...but if you think invaders mounted 2 inches forward of center perform well in pow, you need to try out a real pow setup.

i mounted a pair 8cms forward to see how they ride and it was a sweet switch ski but i didnt do any "real" skiing on them

If you had a dedicated park ski why wouldn't you? Someone on this site said something like: "foward from center is good because you can grab tail easier, nose easier, ride switch better and press better."

wait wtf, are we talking about the exact center of the ski, like same tip and tail, and in front of that so theres more tail than tip? that cwraaaaaaazy

i dont have the funds to dedicate a pair of skis to park, therefore i would never mount in front of center. but yea if you don't want to ride anywhere else then i don't see why not...
