Mounting Check

I'm 90% sure this is right, I just don't want to fuck it up
I'm mounting my hellbents soon at -1,from center and i need to mark the line for the mounter. I've never had rockered skis and I'm not sure if mounting is any different because of the rocker.
1. Measure the running length of the ski that has contact with the snow2. divide by 2 and subtract -1 from the middle of what I measured3. mark line and give a six-er to the mount tech along with my skis
i checked the searchbar and I didn't get the answeres I wanted, so
any GOOD help= ++k

Oh fuck I just randomly opened this up when I was texting you, then I realized it was you. Did you get this years or last years?

If you measure the running length of the ski and divide it by two it will give you the center of the running length, i have been recently wondering how that would compare to the actual center of the entire ski, i think it would be back from center because the rocker in the tip is longer than the rocker in the tail.
if you want to mount them 1cm back from the center of the entire ski then the core center mark should be 1/16 of an inch in front of the core center mark (at least that is what it is on my 189 08 bents).
depending on how far back the center of the running length is they might ride really well.

i just did some measuring and the center of the running length is 1.5 cm back from the core center mark so depending on your size and the size of the skis that might be a good spot to mont them.

You know you want them at -1 but you don't know what -1 is? That doesn't make sense.

Go on the balance point, which will be just back of centre.

I have 189s and I'm 6' 3" 200lbs
I think i might split the difference between true center and core center, I love me some switch pow ridin

Ya that would probably be pretty good, and as long as you don't go more than 2cm back they should shred switch.

yes it does, there are two different -1's(core center and true center) and in reading some of the 6435425447 hellbent threads i figured -1 or -1.5 was the general consensus for what i planned to do
