Mounting Bindings?

Hey I just got some Jskis and I am only going to be using them in the park. Where would you guys recommend I mount my bindings?

no sir, i would take them to a shop... unless you have all the proper equipment... which im assuming you dont. good luck tho man.

ya dude not trying to be rude, im just trying to save your nice j skis from having an improper mount and possibly having a pull out! no worries man
 
I think the other dude got the wrong meaning from the thread, OP is asking where to mount his skis, not whether he should mount them himself, and for park its pretty accepted to go dead center, or 1-2cm back, there should be a line on the ski and any good shop will mount them at the park line if you tell them they are going to be skied in the park.
 
Go true center. Factory recommended is the center between contact points. Yes you will be taking away from the actual performance of the ski but when on rails you will not be centered and riding switch will be much harder.

I've never heard of this park line. Only the factory recommended mount line. Is that what you meant?

Theres usually two or three mount lines on the topsheet or sidewall of a ski, there usually a more progressive forward mount that at center or close to it and a tradition mount line a ways back.

Looking my factions there is a line that says center, one that says freestyle boot center, and then a far back one that says recommended boot center. other skis may only have one marked point, but a lot of companies have multiple lines.
