mounting bindings

I just ordered a pair of PE's and have a question about mounting them. Everyone on here says to mount them at +3 or +2 but does that mean at the center of the boot or binding or what. I would really like to save $30 and do it myself. Oh yeah I just landed my first 3 and then did like 5 more that day. Just had to tell everyone cause I'm really pumped

DONT MOUNT THEM YOURSELF

You will end up screwing them up and having to either pay somebody to fix your dumb ass work, or buy as new pair because you messed them up beyond repair.

yeah definitely don't do it yourself, it's so much harder than you could ever imagine, you gotta get it perfect place widthwise, etc...def just bring it to a shop

but congrats on the 3 man, keep it up

'you should probably get bindings or it will be hard to stay on your skis...don't get gloves tho, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm' -221

the +2 or +3 responds to centimeters forward of the center line... and as far as doing it yourself, i wouldn't recommend it, but i have done it before and never had a problem. but it does void any warranty that the companies have for both the skis and bindings. so, yeah if you are really serious about doing it yourself drop me a line... i'll help you out.

if u dont know where to mount em, dont do it yourself, and if u dont know how far up to mount em, then have the shop do it where they are supposed to be. if u dont know enough to know where to mount em, u shouldnt do it yourslef and u shouldnt worry about how far up or back they are
