so wuts true center and core center, how do u find these and then wheres a good place to mount. i know its a thing of preference but any advise would be nice. dont bother me about the search bar...

things fricken hard to use do the high crap to useful ratio.

True Center is the dead middle of the ski, so there is equal amount of ski in front of and behind the binding.

Core Center is when the midsole is right at the narrowest part of the ski.

Many skis have Core Center marked but you'll usually have to measure to find True Center, it depends on teh ski.

I've asked this a lot in my time. This seems to be the concensous...

100% park = True (measured) centre

80% park = -2 or -3cm

50% park = -5cm

All mountain = -7cm

Midsole tend to be crap on twintips I've found.

Im going to bust out a nomensteven

Best bindings for what? Racing? Park? Big mountian? Fighting wars? You will have to give us your weight, ability, what you ski most, and any other bindings you have had problems with or have broken.

where you mount can also be influenced by the size of the ski - i.e if the ski is really short, you prob dont wanna mount too far back..

ultimately, agree with ^ - depends what you are doing with the skis

I would say if you are in the park 90% of the time, go true centre. No point in mounting behind for a little carving preformance..
