Mounting bindings..?

So I've been riding the origional LINE 1260 for the past couple of seasons. So needless to say they are thrashed beyond all reason. I need new skis rather badly but I have one question about binding mounts. The guy who origionaly mounted my 1260's moutned them with not only a progressive stance , but actually directly in the middle of the skis. Skiing with this stance has made me un-balenced when skiing with regularly mounted skis, in fact it is so awkward that I cannot spin cork or regular without going off axis and off balance. So for future advice, should I get my next pare of skis mounted in the center of the skis again to remedy my developed reliance on center balance, or get them mounted with a more normal rear sided mount, and learn to live with it????

I was under the impression that the 1260 was meant to be centre-mounted.

But if i were you just get your bindings mounted where they are meant to be, with them slightly back its better for you (even if it feels awkard) you'll get used to it. You also really can't ride powder with your bindings centre mounted

if you ski mostly park, get them center mounted, if you ski pretty much all mountain just get them mounted where they're supposed to be.
