So when you say to mount your bindings at +3, does that mean that the mid-line on your boots are directly over the +3 marking on the ski? I am asking this cause i asked a shop to mount my bindings at +3 and when I put my boots on, the mid-line on my boots hits the midsole line on the ski (not +3). So I went back to the shop and asked if they screwed up. They explained that they used a jig or something for a template and they used a line on their jig to determine what would be over the +3 mark. So they showed me the jig and the jig line and the boot midsole line are about 3 cm apart...thats the mid-line on my boot falls over the midsole line.
So basically, what do you line up over the +3 mark. The Jig line or the bootline? I am guessing the bootline. Either way I am gonna go test the skis this weekend and if I don't like where the bindings are set, they said they will give me a brand new set of skis and remount my bindings.
