for christmas im tryin tah get some new arv's. but im wondering, i want to use them for everything but im looking to ski alot of pow. So im just wondering where do u guys think i should mount them?

mount them recomended or a few cms forward, but if your skiing a lot of powder, recomended works fine. The mounting point looks far back when your just looking at the ski, but when you actually stand on the skis, there is plenty of tail for landing switch.

is the recommended mounting spot a traditional one or is it more forward of where other skis recommended mounting spot is. I am looking to get the ARV's some time soon and had the same question.

I found that my arv's reccomended was prime for powder, but in the park it was a little back. If you're gunna be doing some park on um I would mount them a couple cm's forward...

the point is real close to traditional as far as balance point goes, but armada's skis have a more forward balance point due to the construction. Like I said, There is plenty of tail on them.

how is recomended for switch, or switch pow landings? Im gonna use mine mostly for trees and mountain, maybe some pipe, and the occasional backcountry booter

reccom. is super tradtioninal, i almost wish i wouldve mounted mine futher forward for strickly pow.

Ok so recomended would be the go for all mountain and some park. I also face the same problem but im trying to judge the size either a 175 or a 185, im about 5',9" and 73kg. Im a racer im used to long skis and a good skier i just want to know if ill find the 185s a bit cumbersome. Also is the 95mm under the foot to much for all round use eg groomers and the like. Cheers, Nick
