Mounting ARMADA Halo

I was wondering where the armada cast has their Halo's mounted and any sugestions for where i should mount mine. Im 6'0 165 lbs and got the 176's. I ski 95% park but am going out west to telluride colorodo in a week. Sugestions and help +k

I am 6'1, 180 lbs. I just got the Armada halos and I centre mounted them since I will use them for about 95% park. I put the Salomon STH 12s on them. looks dope

center mount them !! if u check out the video of the guy riding them on you tube he made pow slashes in 1-2 feet of pow !

No. I had Alpha 2's mounted at centre, and although you are centred on the ski, you are not centred in the sidecut. The reverse sidecut starts earlier in the tip (30cm from tip) and later in the tail (25cm from tail) So although you technically have the same amount of ski in front and behind, you have 5cm more tail than tip which obviously makes them ski weird. I remounted at recommended, which is centred in the sidecut, and they ski infinitely better.

I'm 6'0 and about 175, I mounted my halos dead center. You're technically not "meant" to, because you're going to be a bit ahead of the sidecut.. But I ski 100% park and I prefer my skis centered, it all comes down to personal preference. I found they still skied fine, but what do I know?..

i have the t-halls it says factory recommended is 2.5cm back but i mounted them dead center anyway and they are fine i would just go with dead center look at the center of the ski it might say there where to mount them but i would just go with dead center

2.5cm back. It's not like the T-hall where you're just ahead of the sidecut, its that you physically have less edge on the snow at all times ahead of you than behind.

what if i went like -1? would that be good for getting both good riding with benifits of being at center? sorta like the best of both worlds if that makes sence...

Hey. I mounted mine -1 og -1,5. I'm not really sure. But well I skied deadcenter b4, and even though they ski fine I could still feel it sometimes. So now I got new alphas and chose to mount them a bit closer to recommeded.

But you have to remember, the difference is not gonna be huge no matter what choice you make ;)

If you're skiing mostly park I believe you will have a hard time telling if you ski them dead center or true center of the ski. On the other hand, when I was skiing pow dead center it was noticeable. You can still shred pow way harder than any normal cut park ski out there !

mounted them -2.5.

had the first park day and it was awesome. such a playful ski. and it was also funny on groomers

Mine are at centre, skied them today on groomed, some little park hits and in some pow. All good, no complaints so far. Obviously not a race ski but they carve decently, super light swingweight, buttery fun and they skied the pow alright for a park ski.
