Mounting Alpha 1's?

Ok so I'm pretty sure that I am going to put some salomon sth 14's on my alpha's as it seems to be a very popular binding which is light and strong, unless anybody comes up with anything uber good. So on my alpha's there is a center mark, then -2.5 which is factory recommended and then -5 which i have no idea why they put that on there. I was thinking mount at -1.5 or -2, what a peoples thoughts and has anybody email tyler about it? Any help would be good, thanks!

Seeing as how you didnt provide us with much information I will tell you what I would do; -2.5 with FKS 155 or 185

heard 14's had a weaker toe peice than the 12's and 16's unless your talking about the 14 Driver which apparently has the same toepeice as the other 2.

I got mine at -2.5 The guy at the shop strongly recomeded it so thats what I did he looked like he knew hella more about skis than me.

Because the Alpha's have the elf shoe tech, the amount of ski that has actual sidecut is much shorter and if you go too far up or down, it will really affect the skis carving performance. I wouldn't go up or back anymore than 2cm. I would say -1 from true center would be pretty sick. I guess that would also be +1.5 from recommended.
